Historical background
The M777A2 is a modern lightweight 155 mm towed howitzer used by the armies of the USA, Canada, Australia and other allies. It became well known in Ukraine due to its active use in the war against Russian aggression. Thanks to the use of titanium alloys, the gun has a low weight (around 4.2 t), which allows it to be transported by aircraft, helicopters, or even off-road vehicles. The A2 variant is equipped with a digital fire-control system that provides high accuracy and fast targeting.
Information about the model
The SPALAH M777A2 model in 1:35 scale faithfully reproduces the proportions and structural features of the real gun. Manufactured by 3D printing from high-quality photopolymer resin, it guarantees fine detail and clean surfaces. Most parts are supplied with supports and packed in protective boxes to prevent damage during transport. Number of resin parts – 71. The kit includes resin parts, assembly instructions, 2 painting schemes and a sheet of decals. Size of the finished model with the barrel placed at approximately 45 degrees: 290 mm by 160 mm. The model can be displayed in either combat or travel (towed) configuration.
Purpose
The model is ideal for modellers and collectors of modern military equipment, and for dioramas on contemporary combat themes. The kit is compatible with other SPALAH sets: SP27835 “Artillery set 155 mm” and SP14235 “M777 Howitzer Gun Crew”.
