Description

1:35 Scale Model Set: Igla-1 (9K310) MANPADS (2 pcs) SPALAH

Historical Note

The Igla-1 (9K310) is a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) designed to engage low-flying aerial targets. For decades, it has remained one of the most effective short-range air defense tools. Today, the Igla-1 is actively and successfully utilized by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to intercept enemy helicopters, ground-attack aircraft, and cruise missiles. For modelers, this system is a vital attribute of a modern diorama, symbolizing the mobility and efficiency of infantry units in the fight for airspace.

Model Information

The SPALAH set in 1:35 scale includes two highly detailed units of the Igla-1 MANPADS. Thanks to high-precision 3D printing technology, the model perfectly reproduces the complex geometry of the launch tube, the equipment block, and the sighting devices, which often appear oversimplified in plastic counterparts. The photopolymer resin allows for the preservation of the finest mounting elements and textures. To ensure reliable protection during transit, the set is delivered in a protective box with technological supports.

Intended Use

This set is designed for modelers creating dioramas focused on modern military conflicts. These MANPADS units are ideal for equipping infantry figures, air defense crews, or as supplementary elements for combat vehicles. The Igla-1 models are fully compatible with most 1:35 scale figures. The photopolymer surface provides excellent quality for priming, painting, and weathering.
