Description

1:35 Scale Model Set "Spent 35mm Shell Casings (Gepard)" (167 pcs) SPALAH 33235

Historical Background The German Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled gun (SPAAG) is armed with twin 35mm Oerlikon GDF autocannons. This vehicle became a true legend during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, demonstrating phenomenal effectiveness in intercepting loitering munitions and cruise missiles. In action, the cannons eject a massive volume of casings at an incredible rate. Piles of distinctive 35mm shells beneath a Gepard unit have become one of the most recognizable visual symbols of successful Ukrainian air defense operations.

Model Information This 1:35 scale set by SPALAH features 167 highly accurate replicas of 35mm shell casings. Using high-resolution 3D printing technology, each casing boasts the perfect form and proportions of real Oerlikon ammunition. The models are crafted from photopolymer resin, preserving sharp details of the primer and casing walls. The number of pieces in the set allows for a realistic recreation of the aftermath of an anti-aircraft engagement.

Purpose and Application This set is an essential accessory for creating dioramas featuring the Gepard SPAAG in modern Ukrainian contexts. The casings can be placed in a large pile directly beneath the vehicle or scattered around it at a firing position. This level of detailing adds incredible realism to the work and tells a story of intense combat. These accessories are perfectly compatible with Gepard kits from Meng, Tamiya, Takom, and other manufacturers.
