1:35 Scale Model Set "Spent 57mm Shell Casings (AZP S-60, ZSU-57-2)" (60 pcs) SPALAH 33635
Historical Background The 57mm S-60 automatic anti-aircraft gun, developed in the mid-20th century, is experiencing a true "renaissance" in modern conflicts. Due to its long firing range and the high penetrating power of its shells, these guns are actively used in Ukraine as a potent fire support tool. They are often mounted on truck or KrAZ chassis, creating powerful mobile artillery units. A signature feature of an S-60 firing position is the large, massive brass casings that accumulate near the gun after intense fire, creating a highly recognizable visual image.
Model Information This 1:35 scale set by SPALAH includes 60 high-detail replicas of 57mm shell casings. Utilizing high-resolution 3D printing, each casing features a perfect conical shape and a clearly rendered headstamp with a primer. The models are crafted from premium photopolymer resin, eliminating the seam lines typically found in plastic injection molding. The scale of the casings is maintained with maximum accuracy, making them perfect miniature replicas of real ammunition.
Purpose and Application This set is an ideal addition for dioramas featuring S-60 guns or ZSU-57-2 self-propelled anti-aircraft guns. The casings can be scattered on the ground near the gun, placed in the bed of a carrier truck, or arranged in designated casing collection areas. This level of detailing adds weight and historical authenticity to the scene, highlighting the power of the artillery system.
