Description

1:350 Scale Model Set "Propellers for Bismarck, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Tirpitz" (3 pcs) – SPALAH SP01553

Historical Reference German battleships and heavy cruisers of the Bismarck and Scharnhorst classes were driven by three massive three-bladed propellers. These screws were designed to transmit the colossal power of the turbines, providing the giant vessels with speeds exceeding 30 knots. The blade shape and hub geometry were meticulously engineered to achieve maximum efficiency and reduce cavitation, making these ships some of the fastest and most maneuverable in their class.

Set Information Kit SP01553 in 1:350 scale contains three highly detailed propeller models. Thanks to the use of photopolymer resin 3D printing technology, we have achieved the ideal blade shape and crisp hub detailing, which is often a challenge for standard plastic parts. The models feature a smooth surface and correct pitch, bringing them as close as possible to the appearance of their real-world prototypes. The high-quality material ensures easy processing and excellent adhesion with metallic paints.

Purpose This set is perfect for upgrading 1:350 scale models of the battleships Bismarck and Tirpitz, as well as the battlecruisers Scharnhorst and Gneisenau, from any manufacturer. Replacing the stock propellers with detailed replicas from SPALAH adds authenticity to the model, especially when displayed with a full hull. This is an essential element for creating a professional, exhibition-grade model.
