1:35 Scale Detail Set "Damaged Workable Track Links T161 with Drive Sprocket for M2 Bradley (for Academy and Tamiya kits, 170 pcs.)" SPALAH SP36235
Historical Background The T161 type tracks are the modern standard for M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and M3 cavalry fighting vehicles. During intense combat operations, armored vehicles inevitably suffer damage to their chassis: anti-tank mine blasts, shrapnel hits from artillery shells, or simply extreme wear on rough terrain lead to the destruction and detachment of rubber pads, deformation of metal elements, and tearing of the track itself. Such visual consequences of battle are extremely characteristic of vehicles located on the front line or undergoing field repair.
Model Information The SPALAH set in 1:35 scale allows you to assemble fully workable (movable) T161 type track links with a filigree imitation of combat damage and wear (torn or damaged rubber pads). Manufactured using high-precision 3D printing from premium photopolymer resin, it guarantees perfect reproduction of fine relief. The kit includes 170 resin links, as well as specially designed drive sprockets that ensure perfect pitch and engagement with the tracks. The parts are supplied with supports to prevent damage during transportation. The set is designed for use with plastic kits from Academy and Tamiya.
Purpose The set is perfectly suited for modelers creating dioramas on the theme of modern armed conflicts featuring damaged, knocked-out, or abandoned equipment, or vehicles undergoing field repair. The workable design of the tracks allows you to realistically simulate a torn track on the terrain, and the unique texture of the damage adds undeniable atmosphere and narrative depth to the model.
