Recently, the Ukrainian brand "SPALAH" released the world’s first serially produced model of the Soviet 100 mm MT-12 “Rapira” anti-tank gun, a weapon currently widely used in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian war.

To accompany the release, SPALAH also introduced a four-figure Ukrainian Armed Forces crew set. The figures depict soldiers in dynamic poses operating and preparing the gun. Each miniature features highly detailed modern gear, thanks to a production process based on 3D scans of real people wearing authentic equipment used by Ukrainian troops.

To further enhance your dioramas, ammo boxes with 100 mm shells are also available. These include precisely recreated markings based on real batch labels from European supplies delivered to Ukraine.

The MT-12 “Rapira” is a Soviet 100 mm anti-tank gun developed in the late 1950s as an upgrade to the earlier T-12. Adopted in 1961, it was designed to defeat NATO armored vehicles using APFSDS and HEAT rounds. Compared to its predecessor, the MT-12 features a protective gun shield and improved mobility—capable of being towed by vehicles like the MT-LB. Despite being gradually replaced by guided missiles and drones, the MT-12 remains in active use, especially in the current war.

The launch of this model and its accompanying accessories offers a great opportunity to build a detail-rich diorama of this charismatic weapon in combat use.
