The 1:35 Scale Model “76 mm Ammunition Crate” is a highly detailed accessory designed to enhance military dioramas, artillery scenes, and technical compositions from the Second World War. The model replicates a standard wooden crate used for transporting 76 mm artillery shells widely employed by the Red Army, particularly for the ZiS-3 gun.
Historically, such crates played a crucial role in maintaining continuous ammunition supply at the front. Their construction was optimized for quick opening, protection of the shells from damage, and convenient handling both manually and during transport by vehicles. A typical crate held several shells secured with internal trays and brackets, ensuring their safe delivery to artillery positions.
The model is produced using high-precision resin 3D printing, allowing accurate reproduction of fine structural details: wood grain texture, metal hinges, latches, handles, reinforcement plates, and internal shell holders. The set also includes 76 mm shells themselves, crafted with a high level of detail, including separate detonators.
The kit is supplied with supports in a protective box to ensure safe transportation.
This accessory is an excellent addition to artillery dioramas, ammunition resupply scenes, or as a standalone element in military-historical displays, adding authenticity and visual depth.
