1:350 Scale Model Kit "Flagpoles with Multiple Flags for Bismarck (2 pcs)" SPALAH SP02953
Historical Background
Flagpoles on warships, such as the German battleship Bismarck, held not only ceremonial but also crucial tactical and communicational significance. They were used to hoist national, naval, and signal flags, allowing crews to identify the ship, exchange information with other vessels in the squadron, and issue commands during radio silence or combat. The visibility and condition of the flags were critical components of fleet command.
Model Information
The SPALAH flagpole set in 1:350 scale meticulously reproduces the thin masts with the integrated folds of unfurled flags. Thanks to high-precision 3D printing using high-quality photopolymer resin, we achieved true-to-scale "fabric" thickness and a realistic dynamic of flags fluttering in the wind, which is completely unattainable with standard plastic or flat decals. The parts are supplied with supports attached and are packed in protective boxes to prevent damage during transportation. Number of resin parts: 8.
Purpose
The kit is designed specifically for marine modelers aiming for museum-grade quality and maximum historical accuracy when building the flagship of the German fleet. Resin flagpoles with pre-modeled 3D flags serve as an ideal alternative to basic plastic parts, significantly save the time typically spent scratch-building these fragile elements, and add striking dynamics and liveliness to the finished model right out of the box.
