Lippisch P.12, P.13a and P.13b were competing projects for a ramjet-powered interceptor aircraft developed in 1944 by German designer Oleksandr Lippisch. P.12 and P.13a were not armed, relying on the strength of the wings to ram the enemy. P.13a and b were required to operate on gas produced in a furnace from powdered coal. The DM-1 was a full-size glider used to test the low-speed aerodynamics of the P.12/13a. The design of the series was not related to the previous P.13, produced by the Messerschmitt design bureau in Lippiš.
