CP72025 I-16 (Russian: И-16), also commonly used names: "Ishak", "Ishachok"; "Rata"; "Mosca", among the Spanish Republicans; "Swallow" in China. Soviet single-seat front-line fighter of the 1930s, single-engine monoplane, the first production aircraft with retractable landing gear. Developed by DKB Polikarpov.
