The Tupolev Tu-143 "Reis" is a Soviet jet-powered unmanned aerial vehicle that today would probably be called a Cold War drone.
Its first flight took place in 1970. Serial production lasted from 1973 to 1989, and during this time about 950 such drones were created.
The length of this aircraft was 8.06 meters, the wingspan was 2.24 meters. The engine was a single Izotov TR3-117 turbojet engine with a thrust of 6.28 kN. The maximum speed of the Tu-143 was estimated at approximately 920 km/h, and the maximum flight range was about 190-200 kilometers.
